Matthew Pottinger, President Donald Trump’s respected Deputy National Security Adviser, told politicians from around the world during a recent meeting that the most likely source of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) is a Chinese laboratory.
Rather than emerging at a Wuhan wet market as was initially claimed, the Chinese virus more than likely came from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, China’s only level-four biolab.
“There is a growing body of evidence that the lab is likely the most credible source of the virus,” Pottinger is quoted as saying.
The novel virus may have been leaked, and it may have been “an accident,” Pottinger further suggested, adding that even “establishment figures in Beijing have openly dismissed the wet market story.”
The meeting, which took place over Zoom, occurred at the same time as experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) were gearing up to travel to Wuhan to conduct a full investigation concerning the source of COVID-19.
Many critics, including Pottinger, are already speculating that the WHO, due to being heavily influenced by China, will whitewash its findings to make the communist regime appear innocent.
“MPs around the world have a moral role to play in exposing the WHO investigation as a Potemkin exercise,” Pottinger stated, referring to the fake villages that were created in Crimea during the 18th century, the purpose of which was to convince the visiting Russian Empress Catherine the Great that the region was in good health.
Iain Duncan Smith, a former Tory Party leader who attended the meeting, commented that Pottinger’s statements represent a “stiffening” of the American position concerning the source of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19).
“I was told the U.S. has an ex-scientist from the laboratory in America at the moment,” Smith further stated. “That was what I heard a few weeks ago. I was led to believe this is how they have been able to stiffen up their position on how this outbreak originated.”
Adding to the suspicion is Beijing’s refusal to allow journalists to visit the Wuhan laboratory where the China virus is now widely believed to have been concocted.
“The truth is there are people who have been in those labs who maintain that this is the case,” Smith added. “We don’t know what they have been doing in that laboratory.”
“They may well have been fiddling with bat coronaviruses and looking at them and they made a mistake. I’ve spoken to various people who believe that to be the case.”
Since it is basically now a given that communist China is directly responsible for having unleashed the WuFlu on the world, causing massive economic and societal destruction, the time has come for the regime to pay up.
Sam Armstrong, communications director at the Henry Jackson Society foreign policy think-tank, announced publicly that it is time for the British government, at least – and we would also contend the American government – to “seek both answers about and compensation for COVID-19.”
Should President Trump remain in office for a second term, there is a possibility that he, too, will call on China to fork over a large sum of cash to compensate all Americans for the horrors they had to endure throughout 2020, and now into 2021.
“Everyone with two brain cells to rub together knew it was not a coincidence that the pandemic began within a mile of the only lab in China that does experiments with the world’s most dangerous viruses,” wrote one Daily Mail Online commenter.
“The problem is too many western scientists have dirty hands from supporting unethical and dangerous gain-of-function experiments at this Chinese lab that create viruses capable of starting pandemics.”
