Lawyer Ana Toledo of Targeted Justice believes the Targeted Individual Program (TIP) is the most extreme example of government weaponization.
“The TIP is the most extreme example of government weaponization, and Congress hasn’t looked this way,” she said during an appearance on “The Prather Point” hosted by Jeffrey Prather. “I know there is a committee [about it] right now … but they haven’t mentioned [this issue] or looked this way. This is just a tragedy that innocent civilians are being attacked.”
Toledo, who serves as a board member at Targeted Justice, added that lawmakers ought to look up the TIP and be unafraid of being targeted themselves. She also called for the TIP to be shut down and Congress to take away its budget. According to the lawyer, there are between 300,000 and 400,000 targeted individuals in the U.S. alone and around six million people in the world are in the same situation.
She also expounded on Targeted Justice, saying that it began as a tool for targeted individuals to get information. Toledo told the “Prather Point” host: “It is basically a tool. It contains a lot of tools for people to deal with the targeting while we shut down this evil program.”
Toledo also cited the Terrorist Screening Database (TSD) as another example of government weaponization. Created during the second Bush administration, the TSD was supposed to be a tool with the names of known and suspected terrorists. However, it went out of control when “non-investigative subjects,” or persons who have no ties to terrorism, were placed on the list.
She cited the admission of a former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) official that there are many people in the TSD that do not meet the criteria for terrorists. The same official added that the directive that established the TSD only authorized the inclusion of terrorists. But according to Toledo, it includes people whose names were illegally listed due to nefarious reasons such as retribution related to relationships and businesses.
Moreover, Toledo mentioned that the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Center – which maintains the list and receives information to update it – does little to no analysis to determine whether the government should consider someone a potential terrorist.
“The FBI is incurring bad behavior by putting in the database people that they even know are not known terrorists. And they are being put there for the wrong reasons, that’s what I think is happening,” the Targeted Justice lawyer told Prather.
Prather, a former intelligence officer, remarked that FBI is not a law enforcement organization. Instead, the bureau is actually an intelligence organization doing psychological operations.
Given this, Toledo told the program host that she believes people such as the Jan. 6 false-flag riot participants, parents protesting woke school curricula, Christians and conservatives are being listed in the database as “domestic terrorists.” (Related: Veteran U.S. Air Marshal’s wife placed on ‘domestic terrorist’ list merely because she flew into D.C. on Jan. 6.)
