Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK Jr.) has confirmed to Tucker Carlson that the U.S. is indeed developing bioweapons in Ukraine-based laboratories. The Democratic presidential candidate disclosed this to the former Fox News host during the 16th episode of the latter’s show “Tucker on Twitter.”
“We have biolabs in Ukraine because we’re developing bioweapons,” RFK Jr. told Carlson. “Those bioweapons are using all kinds of new synthetic biology, CRISPR technology and genetic engineering techniques that were not available to the previous generation. They can make frightening, frightening stuff.”
He also said that the Department of Defense (DoD) “began putting a lot of money into bioweapons” when the biological weapons armories were reopened in 2001 under the Patriot Act. However, the DoD was “nervous at that time” about violating the Geneva Convention that bans such weapons. It was also unsure if a provision regarding bioweapons in the Patriot Act would hold up as a loophole to treaties that have been ratified by Congress.
“So they transferred the authority for biosecurity to one agency in the HHS [Department of Health and Human Services] called the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), run by Anthony Fauci. Fauci got all the responsibility for bioweapons development. He got that time a 68 percent raise from the Pentagon in order to do that work. And that’s why he was the highest-paid official in the American government,” RFK Jr. said.
According to the presidential candidate, vaccine development always comes alongside bioweapons development. He also noted that gain-of-function research has another goal aside from making pathogens more infectious and/or lethal. Such research also allows manipulated pathogens to be immune to antibiotics, drugs and other therapeutics.
RFK Jr., the nephew of former President John F. Kennedy, pointed out that Fauci was receiving an annual salary of $450,000 a year prior to his retirement in December 2022. This amount, the Democratic candidate added, was higher than what the president, Supreme Court justices and members of Congress receive.
The infectious disease expert commissioned biosafety labs (BSLs) all over America, including in Boston and in Galveston, Texas. According to RFK Jr., the two he mentioned are among many such facilities in the U.S. that ordinary Americans do not know of.
He also told Carlson that back in 2014, three pathogens escaped from three different labs – all dangerous, high-profile breaches. The outbreaks involved smallpox and “a couple of bad microbes.” The public learned about it and it received a lot of publicity, including hearings in Congress. (Related: HUNDREDS of accidents have occurred at U.S. biolabs but were never reported.)
Because of this, 300 scientists wrote to then-President Barack Obama, urging him to shut down Fauci. Obama eventually signed a moratorium on Fauci’s research, shutting down 18 of his experiments in the process. Most of them were happening in the Galveston facility and in another lab in North Carolina, where coronavirus research scientist Ralph Baric worked.
“Instead of obeying that law, Fauci shifted a lot of his operations offshore,” RFK Jr. said. “And most of those operations ended up in the Wuhan lab.”
According to the founder of Children’s Health Defense, the Wuhan facility was run by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. Other gain-of-function experiments bankrolled by Fauci went to Ukraine labs.
